”I aspire to honor Earth's whimsical wonder through my artwork. Painting woodland creatures brings the outside world into the studio while creating art for my fellow nature lovers brings joy to my heart. A personal fascination with animal symbolism and herbalism finds itself peppered into my paintings. I hope that my artwork encourages viewers to honor nature's energy and importance. Favored mediums I am currently working with are oil, acrylic, and gouache paint. Alongside painting, I create block print/ hand carved stamps to print on unique paper and wearables.
Born and raised in New Jersey, spending my early days crafting and observing the natural world is what would eventually lead to the inspiration and mediums I currently create with today. In my early 20’s I moseyed south to North Carolina where I currently live and create paintings with the incredibly varied species of my surroundings.
The idea of unity through art, humanity, and nature, I believe, is crucial in this moment in time. My hope is to weave an invisible thread of thought through my artwork onto the viewer that we are very much connected to the natural world.”
