The long-eared bat is an endangered species and a vital critter in our ecosystem. Populations have declined up to 99% in some area of the country. Bats are considered a nighttime pollinator for our plant/ food sources, they also of course, keep mosquito populations down. So many reasons to celebrate these unique babies.
